How it works

One tap first. Details second.

  1. 1

    Find the job

We bring manpower needs from locals, hall websites and public sources into one place, by trade, state and local.

  2. 2

    Know the money

Wage, per diem, schedule, overtime and duration up front. Run the numbers on what you'd actually clear.

  3. 3

    Call the hall

We point you to the local's official dispatch info. Books, referral and eligibility always go through the hall.

  4. 4

    Hit the road

Plan the trip and find somewhere to stay near the work.

Every job shows its source

Verified by local — posted or confirmed by an authorized union representative.

Source: official local website — found on the local's own site, with the link and when we last checked.

Source: public job board — found on a public listing.

If information isn't posted, we say Not listed. We never guess. If a job disappears from its source we mark it verification pending — not "filled".

Union Traveler does not replace hiring halls, collective bargaining agreements, books, referral procedures or dispatch. Always verify with the local before traveling.
